Beach should be public still need a stupid parking sticker even if you’re a resident. and those lazy teenager girls that work there are rude and disrespectful and the way they talk about other human beings they should be fired. The beach is nice , nice sand , showers inside and outside. definitely more of a tourist attraction.
Lovely beach and facilities. Their exclusionary beach pass and parking system turns what should be an amenity for all into a locals only club.
A well maintained local municipal beach. You have to be a tax paying resident and access is carefully controlled. Great benefit for WHB people.
Great beach club for locals only. This place is awesome but you need to own a home in Westhampton Beach or have special access arranged to use the property.

As a child, late 1940s before the jetties, before the "gold chains around necks, before NYC overran the area. Rogers Beach Club was and still is a wonderful memory. We came from NJ. Obviously, not as posh as it is now but they had great pickled onions to go with the burgers. You could rent a wooden bench or chair. My family went there each summer so that our bench had our last name stenciled on the back. Beautiful beach. The Swordfish Club by the other bridge was the "high end" but my family preferred Rogers. We stayed on Beach Lane at the Grassmere (about a five minute walk from town. Then it was a rooming house with the bathrooms down the hall. Linoleum floors throughout and a screened in front porch.
